VIEWMEDIC WEB QA is a software solution, developped for the acceptance test and regular constancy checks. The WEB-QA software is independent of platform as it does not require any installation at the workstation.
The VIEWMEDIC GUARD is the uncomplicated tool to watch over the brightness of a diagnostik workastation. Once calibrated to a certain brightness the Guard warnes the user with a red light if the ambient light is brighter or darker than it was during the acceptance test.
This site gives you a short description of the regulations DIN V 6868-57 and EN 61223, which are important for the acceptance test and the constancy test.
In todays medicine it is of special importance to make a clear and trustworthy diagnosis. On that score we calibrate our devices according to DICOM Part 14, a curve with optimal values for gamma and luminance correction.
