ISD-Technology
This patented innovation of TOTOKU provides the first independent drive of the single subpixels of an LCD panel. Thanks to this the resolution is tripled.
Lambda-X3 backlight technology
The display has a higher luminance and life time because of the Lambda-X3 backlight technology. On the basis of the high luminance, the image quality is ideal, also during critical light conditions.

Luminance stabilizing system provides continuously stable displays for medical images
A change in luminance affects gamma characteristics and therefore has adverse effects on diagnostic imaging. TOTOKU's medical image displays are equipped with a luminance stabilizing system that automatically compensates for luminance changes due to startup drift, temperature change, and aging.
Integrated LUT (Look-Up-Table)
General-purpose displays are capable of 256 shades of gray, but due to unevenness and grayscale discontinuity, they cannot reproduce and display the subtle shading difference required for medical image displays. TOTOKU's medical image displays display the most appropriate 256 shades (8bit) out of a maximum of 3826 shades of gray (11.9bits) using the built-in LUT. This technology realizes much finer and smoother grayscale than possible with general-purpose displays
Calibration function to accurately adjust gamma, color temperature, and luminance
The calibration function creates the optimum conditions for a medical imaging display by adjusting luminance levels, color temperature, and grayscale characteristics to achieve DICOM GSDF compliant grayscale output.

LED Indicator
A glance at the LED indicator tells you the display's current operating status in three distinct colors. When in normal mode (luminance is stabilized), the LED is not lighted to minimize negatively impacting the diagnostic interpretation.
Hardware Pivot Function
The pivot function allows for a 90-degree rotation of the LCD panel into portrait orientation.

Clear Base or Blue Base
This display is available with a "blue base" oder "clear base" backlight.
Blubase backlights have a tint of blue like convetional films. This feature was developed bacause many doctors asked for it.
